Egress window
« on: May 29, 2016, 05:51:16 PM »
Ok, we're up north for the long weekend and was going to get the trailer ready for the season. I found the egress window for our bedroom shattered. Here's the puzzler, it stored in a pole barn, so nothing could have hit it. Hmmmm

Well, I removed the broken tempered glass and then the frame for the part that swings out. Guess I have to find a new one before our big trip this summer.

Could be, maybe coupled with a bad piece of glass or some other stress?  It's not like the sun was shining and a cold wind blowing on it because it was shut in the barn

only thing remotely similar that i've heard of is on some 2015/2016 georgetowns, the glass vessel sink in the bathroom has shattered into a million pieces.....forest river was replacing them in warranty or not as they said they got a bad batch from the supplier and the glass would give way with rapid temp changes.  one poster on FROG was shaving and filling the bowl with hot(ish) water when it gave way all over him, IIRC...others came home from a day of travels to find it smashed on the floor.....
