Transporting Kayaks?
« on: May 10, 2014, 07:45:51 PM »
What is the best way to transport my 2 kayaks while pulling a 40 foot 5th wheel?  There is not enough room in the trailer when the slides are closed.

the roof of the truck is where i have seen them most of the time....

that works for normal sized sit ins or sit on tops...

i have seen long ocean kayaks up there also, but with a goal post inside a front mounted hitch so they have support and another place to anchor them way out front...

That's about it for a 5er. Although I have seen some hang one off the ladder on the rear.

I guess if you already have the kayaks, these won't work.  However, they are very cool!
